Kroņa manors were divided into 2 groups:

Most of the crown manors were liquidated by a law of 1886, which required liberated farmers to redeem the land allocated to them. In 1914, there were 21 crown manors in Vidzeme, 13 in Latgale, and 191 in Kurzeme, which were transferred to the state land fund during the Latvian Agrarian Reform.
